Every day, we seem to get further and further away from ourselves. We need new friends. We've made the faulty connections, built on the wrong things, and lost ourselves in all of the chaos. 


So we're drowning in mediocrity, something that doesn't require us to give anything of ourselves or do more than what's accepted or expected of us. And we become comfortable there, complacent with it all.

But then something happens. Something different makes us stand back and think.

It's easy to laugh at the little things, the ridiculous things we used to love, the silly mistakes we made. But it's easy to forget those past loves, those times when everything was perfect, and we thought like God was shining down on us.

So when you feel like you've seen too many shiny faces in the crowd, look who is smiling at you now. And let yourself remember.
