 Clutter Cleaner 2

It’s more than a cliche that clutter exacerbates stress and makes it hard to focus. Clutter can also lead to safety issues, especially if you have kids or pets. It’s time to get a handle on the clutter and reclaim your life!

Clutter Cleaner 2 is the perfect tool for tackling your messes. You can easily organize items by location, type or frequency of use. Or just start with an empty list and sort away! You can categorize things as “clutter” (anything not sorted) or as “good stuff” (anything you want to keep). You can also create custom groups for things like “stuff to keep” or “stuff for sale.” There’s even a dedicated “unclutter” list where you can store things you haven't categorized and which you'll be able to get rid of later on. You'll be able to organize your home in minutes with the powerful and easy-to-use Clutter Cleaner 2.

Main Features:
*List view only: A list view makes it a breeze to keep track of what's clutter and what's not, while leaving more room for good stuff.
*Sort and categorize: Sort by location, type or frequency of use. You can also create custom groups for things like "Good Stuff" and "Keep".
*Groups: function to create customizable groups
*Unclutter list: Lists which you can sort as clutter, but which you're not going to keep - yet.
*Automatically sorts (partly): Clutter Cleaner 2 will sort your items as best it can, while also showing you what it's up to at the bottom of the screen. This allows you to see where your project is headed and makes the process of decluttering significantly less scary.
*Watchlists: You can use watchlists as a way to see what hasn't been sorted yet. Just click on the "Watch" button in the top left corner and add things to your watchlist.
*Favorites: Save your favorite items from one view to another instantly by clicking the star next to them.
*Synchronization: Sync your lists with iCloud, Dropbox or Google Drive so that you can access them from two (or more!) devices.
*Share lists (partly): Share your lists with friends, family or out of town visitors.
*Optimized for iPhone 7 and iPhone 8: The new iOS allows for a lot more content to be shown on the screen, but we found it too distracting when trying to see what's clutter. We've therefore hidden clutter items in a floating panel at the bottom of the screen, which you can tap to reveal them again. This also allows us to present a lot more information, because there's no need to round up clutter items and erase them off the screen anymore.
*Improved design: We've completely redesigned Clutter Cleaner 2 from the ground up so that it's faster and easier to use than ever before.
*Privacy: Your lists and watchlists will be visible only to you, so that there's nothing to fear here!
*No ads! As you can guess from the title, Clutter Cleaner 2 is ad-free.
*Backup of all your data is included in the price. However, a small daily fee is charged for using iCloud or Dropbox.
*Mac OS X version (beta) and Android Version (alpha): While we'd love to offer these as well, we're currently working on a Mac OS X version and an Android version of Clutter Cleaner 2. When they are ready, we'll let you know via the app store.
*If you like it, please leave a review in the App Store. It really helps. Thank you!

The following criticism was made by Holly on the Clutter Cleaner 2 review page of the iTunes app store: "I wanted to like this app - because I feel very guilty about my house being such a mess and through that guilt, I've been trying to declutter some of the "stuff" this last year and can't find a way to even begin. I've written for countless hours about what gets me out of bed in the morning, and yet that's not even listed here as an option in this app. I'm so frustrated with this app that I'm considering simply deleting it."

The following criticism was made by Derek on the Clutter Cleaner 2 review page of the iTunes app store: "Fascinating that a company will charge you $4.99 per month (real money) and then try to beat you up with a commercial for their other apps. The content is unorganized and hard to dig through."

The following criticism was made by Darren on the Clutter Cleaner 2 review page of the Google Play store: "I gave this app a shot thinking maybe I could get some simple help in organizing my house, but man...this thing has some design issues. To start with, there's no way to modify the order of items on a list. There is no way to move a task from one list to another. Deleting an item requires that you tap twice...once to confirm deletion and then again in the next screen. Seriously?!? How about at least making a confirmation box that appears when you tap once!?! I'm already uninstalling this app."

The following criticism was made by Helen on the Clutter Cleaner 2 review page of the Google Play store: "This app is awful. Unorganized and not intuitive at all. Seems like it's been assembled by someone who has never used or seen an actual junk drawer or closet in their entire life. Just a bunch of random features thrown together into one confusing app."

The following criticism was made by Dave on the Clutter Cleaner 2 review page of the Google Play store: "I have been trying to use this for a few weeks now and have run into problems. First, when you add an item it doesn't automatically move to your 'uncluttered' list unless you go to that list and manually move it from clutter. No big deal, but if you forget, then you will never get rid of that item. Second, the sorting is terrible. Various items will randomly be put in the wrong lists (newspaper = kitchen stuff) requiring you to do more work later. Finally...can I delete items from my clutter list if they are not in my other lists? Even after you supposedly "clean" your clutter, it only gets better from there. There is no way to track how many items you've moved to another list and how many remain in your clutter list. You have to dig through all your lists every time and see what's left."

The following criticism was made by Emmett on the Clutter Cleaner 2 review page of the Google Play store: "I'm sure this app is great if you can keep it organized.

Conclusion: If you want to use this app efficiently, you need to categorize all your items into different lists. For example, your kitchen should be separated into different categories like canned goods and the dry goods. The categories are important because then once you find an item, you can look at it and see if it is still on the list or if there's a newer version of that item that has been added or removed. Once again this is just my opinion but I do think this app is fairly useful if you stay organized.
