Action Vs. Inaction

 Action Vs. Inaction

Once upon a time there was a king who ruled over many people. His subjects were unhappy with the kingdom’s current condition, so they wanted to replace the king and put someone more capable in his place. They decided to gather their armies and march on the castle where he lived, but before they could do that, the King collected all of their weapons and burned them.

The army was no longer a threat as they had lost their means to fight back; most of them went home dejected. The King thus remained in power, and he was eventually able to bring the kingdom to a state of prosperity.

THE MORAL OF THE STORY: WE SHOULD NOT ASSUME THAT WE CAN OVERCOME ANY OPPONENT IF WE ARE NOT STOCKED WITH THE RIGHT TOOLS.

The moral of that story is very true in our world as well, this is one of the reason I would advise you to not be an armchair writer, or an armchair leader if you want to work in a leadership role later on your life. The idea behind “Action Vs. Inaction” is that those who do not act would not be able to achieve anything.

There are many stories of people who were able to achieve great success due to their actions, such as Steve Jobs, Richard Branson and Michael Dell. You might think they are the exception rather than the norm, but actually there are many more people like them out there.

You do not need a big reward or a big phenomenon to justify doing what you love for a living; this is something which has been misunderstood by many people. If it makes you happy and satisfies your passions then that should be the most important thing in your life.

THE BENEFITS OF ACTING

After thinking about all of those people who didn’t act, and the ones who did, why don’t you ask yourself: “Why is there a difference between them? Why do some people succeed in life and others don’t?” There are many factors that determine success or failure in life, but one of the key factors is the ability to act.

Too many people don’t know what they want to do for a living until it is too late. If you want to be successful in anything then you really need to know what it is that would make you happy and content with life. Do not make the mistake of just thinking about what you want, take action and create it.

If you want something out of life, then take action and do something about it. If you’re upset that your boss doesn’t recognize or appreciate your value as an employee, then leave without any hesitation. Do not wait for people to change their way of treating you, but instead be a leader in your own life and change how things are for the better for yourself.

The world is ready to accept you as the person that you are, but you have to be willing to change and take action. You will never be able to change things without taking action, so why not grab the opportunity and act?

Conclusion:

To sum things up, there is a very simple reason for why relatively small action can have the biggest impact – because those who are led by compassion rather than selfishness will naturally be able to act. You may not feel motivated to take action in the moment or have a clear vision of what you want to do, but remember: taking even small steps forward in life makes a huge difference and matters. You don’t need to be an ultra-career person to contribute something positive, and you don’t need superhuman abilities either. All you really need is some motivation, determination and the willingness to play your part in something bigger than yourself.
