Neuro-linguistic Programming Strategies
Neuro-linguistic programming is a method of changing people's behavior in their daily lives using specific strategies and techniques that change thinking patterns and provide insight for present problems. There are three types of neu-
ral-linguistic programming: cognitive, behavioral, and neuro linguistic. Cognitive S-Teps ask the person to question how they perceive themselves (their "model") with respect to changes in life circumstances (such as work or school). Behavioral S-Teps allow the person to change their behavior and acquire new ways of thinking. Neuro-linguistic S-Teps help the individual determine what they are feeling. Specific steps are taken to rephrase a problem or constructively state a need and then achieve it. Neuro-linguistic programming strategies may be applied in school, business, and personal lives.
Neuro-linguistic programming is useful in many aspects of life, especially life at school. Neuro-linguistic programming helps people overcome the pressures of schoolwork, bullying from other students, and the pressures of teachers. Neuro-linguistic programming can help people think in more effective ways to help with school work in a variety of different subjects. Neuro-linguistic programming has been known to help athletes perform better in their sport.
Neuro-linguistic programming is useful at work and other places outside of school. Work is stressful because we have to get tasks done on time. Neuro-linguistic programming is useful at work because it helps people think in more effective ways. The main part of neuro-linguistic programming is to "get rid of negative thoughts and replace them with positive" and "to stop bad habits and replace them with good ones". Neuro-linguistic programming helps to get rid of bad habits such as procrastination by changing a person's thought process so that they are motivated to complete tasks. Neuro-linguistic programming can also help people get rid of unhealthy habits such as eating junk food. Neuro-linguistic programming can help people to stop eating junk food and drink soda without feeling guilty or try to eat or drink healthy instead of because they want to lose weight. Neuro-linguistic programming gives people the ability to use their brain in smarter ways as well as improve their overall health.
Neuro-linguistic programming can help people who suffer from social anxiety because the main goal of neuro-linguistic programming is to achieve success. Students are all required to participate in certain instances and interact with one another. People who struggle with social anxiety may need assistance in communicating and interacting with their peers, so there is great performance anxiety. Learning how to properly use self-talk through neuro-linguistic programming techniques helps students overcome their fear of talking in front of a crowd or talking to those who are different from them.
Neuro-linguistic programming can also be useful in the field of sports. Researchers have been able to identify and utilize neuro-linguistic techniques in an effort to help soccer players become better athletes. Neuro-linguistic techniques help athletes improve their performance by helping them learn how to manage their thoughts. Athletes are constantly dealing with pressure and stress which can lead to anxiety throughout the game. The pressure and anxiety often lead to negative thoughts which can have a negative effect on the outcome of the game. Using neuro-linguistic programming techniques can help athletes learn how to manage their stress and anxiety which leads to better performance.

Conclusion: Neuro-Linguistic Programming is an effective tool that can be used in many types of situations. We esteem the benefits it has to offer and see it as a way of bringing about change for the better, mostly when applied to education – which is our primary concern as educators.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a holistic method of understanding all human beings, their thought processes, decision making, beliefs and how they learn.
