Personal Empowerment Comes From Giving
It's a common misconception that personal empowerment stems solely from personal accomplishment. The truth is, it is often the act of giving to others and contributing to the world in some way that makes us feel good about ourselves. This is why we share our knowledge, our skillsets, and our resources with those around us — because doing so not only feels good but creates an endless ripple effect of positive energy.
This concept can be attributed to Albert Einstein and the famous equation, E=mc2, where the energy of our world (E) is equal to matter times the speed of light squared. So if you ask yourself, how can I create positive change in my life? The answer might be found in helping others to create positive change in their own lives. If you help someone else succeed, your own success is sure to follow.
Conversely, the opposite is also true. When we withhold our knowledge and our resources from those around us, it creates a negative effect on the entire world around us. In this manner, the energy of the world decreases as a result of our apathy. This also explains why selfishness and greed are two traits that are universally derided in all corners of the world.
Conversely, it also explains why generosity and selflessness are universally seen as virtuous traits that produce a positive effect on the entire world around us.
When we help someone else, no matter how small or insignificant the task may seem, we help to contribute to the greater good of society. In time, this creates an endless cycle of positivity that inspires us all to be better people.
We are all responsible for the way our society functions. It is up to each of us to do our part in making the world a better place.
The next time you have the chance to help someone, don't pass it up. Rather, reach out and create an act of good today. You'll be surprised at how good you'll feel after that!

Conclusion
I guess my initial question is: where do you place your focus? I think we often place our attention on the world around us, but the truth is the world around us is made up of other people. It's made up of other people. And what we want to focus on is our own personal world and how we can empower ourselves and others in it.
And I think that this concept that when you give to others, it really enriches your own life.
