 Public Speaking And Hypnotherapy

In this post, we'll explore the best techniques for public speaking, as well as the latest strategies to conquer your fears in front of a group. Finally, we will discuss how hypnotherapy can be used to break free from the psychological chains of anxiety and anger.

Hypnosis is one of the most powerful tools in mental health. It's been around for centuries and has helped countless people deal with anxieties and phobias that were holding them back from living their life to its fullest potential. The key to hypnosis is not the 'trance' state that the patient enters, but rather the belief in the treatment. If a client believes that they are hypnotized and that they can change their thoughts and perceptions, they will. That's why hypnosis works so well, even though there is no such thing as a hypnotic trance.

Let me explain: Let's say you have an irrational fear of spiders. I want to show you what you can learn from hypnotherapy.

You're at home watching T.V. when you see a commercial for a local hypnotherapist. You pick up the phone and make an appointment to see what he or she can do for you. The therapist explains that hypnosis is all about relaxation, clearing your mind and focusing on positive statements that help you get what you want from life. You feel better already! The very next day you drive to the therapist's office and lay on the comfortable sofa as instructed. You stare at the blinking lights, listen to the soothing music and close your eyes. The therapist tells you to take slow, deep breaths and relax your limbs. You feel yourself going into a light trance and you start to hear the therapist's voice through a tunnel of waves. You hear her say that being afraid of spiders is silly and that there is no need to be afraid of them anymore. You don't even remember falling asleep, yet you wake up in your own bed with a big grin on your face. You remembered everything that the therapist said and felt so good about yourself for overcoming such a huge fear.

The very next week, you call your job and tell them you aren't coming in. Your boss is furious! He threatens to fire you on the spot if you don't come back in to work tomorrow. You go to see the therapist and he or she explains how you were able to change your thought process and take control of your fears. You decide that it's much easier to just not come back in than to deal with the stress and anxiety that comes from going into work, so you leave the next day without saying a word. The other employees are relieved. They tell you that they thought you were crazy for leaving, but knew deep down that it was for the best. And yes, they did fire Mr. Boss Man. He didn't even know what hit him…

This is what you can expect from hypnotherapy. You can learn to take control of your fears and change the way you feel about those things that make you anxious, angry or depressed. And it's easy to do!

Hypnosis is not a scary thing, it's just a state of calm and relaxation. The goal is to make you feel like you're in your favorite movie, special snowflake. You want to be the super hero, in control of the bad guy… well, not exactly like that but you get the idea. All of this probably sounds a bit over dramatic and even though hypnosis is a very real thing and it does work for many people, it's worth mentioning that it also works on some people and not on others. If you have no fear of spiders or anything else, then hypnosis may not be right for you. And there's nothing wrong with that.

But what if you do have fears or phobias? What if you are constantly worried that the boss will fire you or lose his head over some ridiculous thing? What if you believe that everyone is watching you and judging you, full of jealousy? These are all anxiety disorders and hypnosis can help with these problems too. Different people have different kinds of issues with anxiety and many people have a combination of problems. Don't worry. There is always something that can be done.

What are the best techniques to conquer your fears in public speaking?

There's no easy answer to this question as it varies from person to person. Let's start with what we know works, then move onto the techniques you can use when it comes time for you to practice.

First, let's cover the most important thing about public speaking - just do it! There is no such thing as a natural born speaker or a natural born actor. They're made, not born.

Conclusion: If you want to be a confident public speaker, then start by getting in front of a group and speaking. It's ok if you are nervous; everybody is nervous the first time they speak in front of an audience. This is normal and should not stop you from performing. The more often you speak, the more confident you will become.

A speech or presentation can be broken down into three or four parts: introduction, body, conclusion and "extras" (things like Q&A sessions).
