Pursuit Of Happiness: Having The Ideal In Life... Just Imagine!

Have you ever wondered what makes us happy? Researchers have done so much research on what causes happiness that they've given up trying to define it themselves. They've found that, generally, things such as:
-the absence of negative emotions
-good health
-having plenty of money and good economic conditions in general
-being surrounded by supportive family and friends
make us happy. But, looking at the different research around this topic, it becomes clear that we all have a slightly different idea of what makes us happy. What's more? It's not just about external factors. It's about the internal conditions as well. For example, the way you think about yourself and your goals makes a big difference.
-If you have a hard time believing in yourself and you're constantly plagued by negative thoughts, it will be extremely difficult for you to accomplish your goals. Why? Because those negative thoughts are constantly holding you back from doing what needs to be done. So, if you want to achieve success and happiness, first of all... you must believe in yourself. And second of all, you must believe that you're capable of achieving your goals.
The list goes on and on, but one thing is clear; we have a lot more control over our emotional states than we think...
Why? Because our emotions are driven by our thoughts. We can train ourselves to be more positive and optimistic, and that's how we create the environment where happiness lives.
Let's start by looking at what happiness is:
What is Happiness?
In the simplest terms, happiness is a state of mind. It just happens that this state of mind creates the conditions for us to be more productive and successful. The goal of this article, then, will be to help you achieve happiness.
So, what makes a person happy? Think about it for a second and you'll realize that it's not just the external factors mentioned above, but rather many other factors which make up our lives.
How to Achieve Happiness
This article will be based on the following principles: -that we all have a different idea of what creates happiness and what doesn't. -that achieving happiness is an inside job. It's not something that results from external factors.
-that we can train ourselves to be happier and more positive in our lives. What are you waiting for? Let's get started!
Everyone Wants to Be Happy, But...
It's obvious that happiness is something we all want. We don't really know what it is or how to achieve it, but deep down, we know that being happy is the ultimate goal in life.
- Who doesn't want to be happy? Who doesn't want to enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful life? Actually, if you thought about this for a second, you'd probably realize how silly it sounds. Maybe it doesn't make sense to you. Maybe it sounds like a fairy tale. Maybe you're wondering what the point of this article is.
I'm here to help you understand that being happy isn't about achieving something or doing something. It's actually about attaining a state of mind and living in accordance with your values... In fact, the first step in achieving happiness is making sure that you know what your values are.
Know Yourself
This is one of the most important steps if you want to achieve happiness. I know that it's not easy, but if you think about it logically... What makes us happy?
-Money? Power? Status? Fame? Love? These are all external factors. The way we think about ourselves and our goals can also create happiness. Remember, this is an internal condition, not an external one. But, by understanding what makes us happy in life... What really matters to us... It's far easier to understand what we need to do in order to achieve happiness.
-So, what makes you happy? How do you want to live your life? Do you want adventure, passion and satisfaction? Or do you want success in life through material gains and pleasures? If a person doesn't know what they want out of life... It will be very difficult for them to achieve happiness.
The Problem with Not Knowing What Makes You Happy
This is the biggest roadblock for most people.
