Rich Jerk - Are You Absolutely SURE?

Imagine if someone you loved and cared about was suffering from a life-threatening illness, but you found out that their battle actually had a lot of parallels with your own. As it turns out, there is something dangerous in the water. You thought you were just groaning over the price tags for designer bags and name-brand shoes, but now you're questioning your own decision to flaunt your money and status when others are struggling so much. Maybe it's time to make some changes -- not as drastic as taking up a new profession, but changes nonetheless -- or at least consider them.

The Rich Jerk podcast is all about how being rich isn't always what it's cracked up to be. From how to spend money wisely to the dangers of being rich and why the rich can sometimes be jerks, this podcast is a fun take on money, luxury and basic human behavior.

Conclusion - Are You Absolutely SURE?

How are we to behave when we find ourselves in a place, an environment, cultural setting or with people who we don't respect and where our values aren't shared? Do we leave, or do we stay and be a part of whatever that is happening around us?

The answer depends on what's most important to you. If money is more important than your values, if you're willing to compromise yourself to make a buck (or 50 million bucks) then you stay. You play it safe and follow the money, no matter how much it might cost you. There are different ways to follow the money depending on who you are and what your position was before the new opportunity arose.
