Spirituality Information - Journey In The Fields Of Forever ( Part 63 )

This blog post is the third in a three-part series about listening to your intuition and finding spiritual guidance. The first part, " Meditation On Intuitive Communication - The Art of Receiving" , discusses how to meditate for intuition. In this part, I'll be discussing meditation for the development of psychic powers.

Part two: "The Power of Psychic Protection - Guarding Yourself Against Negativity"

In this article I discussed how you can protect yourself from negativity by building up your energy shields and by using mantras, also known as affirmations or declarations. In the final part of this series, I'm going to discuss some of the ways that you can expand and develop your psychic powers.

I've mentioned in previous articles that my favourite method for attracting positive thinking into my life is through a process called "Journey In The Fields of Forever". Journey In The Fields Of Forever is just one of many techniques used to develop psychic powers such as out-of-body experiences, astral projection, remote viewing, clairvoyance and clairsentience. If you want to experience these kinds of phenomenon for yourself then it's a good idea for you to spend some time each day meditating on the subject.

Journey In The Fields Of Forever meditation is a great way of developing psychic abilities. It can be used to increase intuition, contact guides, angels and other spiritual beings. The more you do this meditation the more adept you become at receiving guidance from spirit. The more you meditate and the longer you meditate each day the better your psychic abilities will become.

The benefits of using Journey in the Fields of Forever for developing psychic powers are immense and include:

1) You'll experience a deepening of your connection with the natural world; nature spirits become extremely helpful and are happy to help with guidance and answers to questions (if they're good spirits).  2) You'll connect to your higher self, i.e. your spiritual self, also known as the angel or "soul" that resides within you and provides guidance for everyday life; this will help you to become more in touch with your spirit.  3) You'll connect to guardian angels, archangels and other spirit guides who will be willing to help you with the growth of your psychic abilities in order to further develop the mystical side of yourself.

Being able to contact these ascended beings is a wonderful blessing that few people these days have access too because we are taught to avoid them in modern society. I'm going to explain the process of Journey in the Fields of Forever in detail, if you'd like to read more I suggest checking out this article: " JOURNEY IN THE FIELDS OF FOREVER - THE ART OF RECEIVING"

Before you begin your journey just make sure that you have taken care of all your other needs and that you are feeling strong and healthy. You should feel comfortable in your body, able to move without any pain or discomfort. Again, make sure that you are physically, emotionally and spiritually well-grounded before beginning; clear your mind and allow only positive thoughts through into your consciousness.

After allowing yourself to relax, close your eyes and imagine that you are in a beautiful forest. Notice how the trees around you look exactly like how they looked before when you were meditating on contacting spirit. If you'd like, take a moment to appreciate their beauty. See if you can remember any of the trees' names or anything about them at all from the last meditation. Focus on feeling peaceful and relaxed as you allow your mind to drift; let it go wherever it chooses too.

Don't try to move your body around or do anything just allow yourself to be comfortable within your own skin, no matter what discomfort there is or isn't; don't try to change it. Bring yourself into a state of complete relaxation. Let everything else go and become aware of your own physical being. What do you see? Do you see a tree in front of you? Are there any colours around the tree? If so, how vivid or bright are they? What is the shape and size of the tree? Is it sapling, or a full grown tree that has lived for many years on this planet?

How big is it in relation to you and how wide is it in relation to your body; its influence would be felt throughout the forest as well as travelling through space. If this is your first journey then you may wish to imagine that the tree is your first teacher. Observe the tree and look at its bark and branches; are they old or just a sapling? Is it a deciduous or coniferous tree?

How many kinds of birds do you hear singing in this part of the forest? What's their song like? Does it have a specific cadence, rhythm and melody, or are their voices random? What kind of animal noises do you hear too: scurrying, rustling leaves and twigs, the gnawing sound of wood against wood as small animals eat their way through fallen branches.

What's their sound like? Do they have a rhythm together or are they random? Can you hear the sound of water running through the trees and plants, droplets falling from leaves and branches to the forest floor? Look down at your feet: can you see your own footprints from when you first entered this part of the forest. If so, how long ago was that and how far have you come since then? How large were your steps when you came into this part of the forest compared to now; are your steps smaller than before?

If there is any particular point that you wish to focus on during this journey, then make sure that it is in full view now. Allow yourself to look at it and take note of the colours and shapes; take it all in. Once you feel that you've taken enough time to view this element in your journey, then turn your attention away from it and allow your gaze to wander around the forest. What does the forest look like? How does it feel to be there? What kind of scents and aromas can you smell on the wind? What sounds do you hear, or rather how loud are they compared to what they were previously or what they have been recently.

Notice the different things that you observe. Look at the trees again and try to notice any changes that have taken place since you first entered this part of the forest. Also, look around you; are there any changes in how the area looks like compared to when you first came in? If so, how long ago was it? How much time has passed since then; hours, days or weeks? Are the colours brighter or duller than before? If your surroundings are in constant flux between day and night then notice if it's brighter or darker now and for how long.

Conclusion

This is an extremely long Journey in the Fields of Forever for there are a lot of different things to take notice of and you may even want to split this into 2 or 3 meditations. This means that you will be spending a lot more time focusing on these same things and that can become tedious. You can do this meditation at anytime when you feel ready, but especially at the end of your day and before bed-time. Recalling when you first entered this part in the forest will bring back the energy that was used to perform this meditation, which allows it to become more effective over time so try to take note of all these details as much as possible.
