Looking for LEGITIMATE work at home opportunities ? Here is a List !

Many people are looking for legitimate work at home opportunities. If you're among them, there are myriad avenues out there in cyberspace. And I don't mean the 1099 tax form stuffing websites that promise to make you wealthy overnight. However, if these "opportunities" don't sound like your cup of tea, then there is a list of legitimate and ethical ways to earn income right from your home computer/pod desk (or whatever).

Below is a list of legitimate business ventures that are known to pay well and offer fair compensation for the hours put into them. They also happen to be opportunities that I've tried myself. Some have been around for years, while some are relatively new. The bottom line: ALL are legit.

1) Data Entry Operator – There's always work available in this field, and lots of it is out there in the "gig economy." The work is simple: copy data from a given website, or software application, and paste it onto another location (usually a spreadsheet). Many websites offer short-term data entry gigs that you can do in your spare time. However, some sites offer longer term opportunities for more serious data entry operators. If you're looking for a home-based job that allows for flexibility in your schedule, and the ability to do from anywhere via the internet (office, coffeehouse, etc), then this is a good place to start. The pay on these sites range from $15/hr to $26/hr. But if you REALLY want to make serious money in this field you should consider developing your own website with a built-in database application, or website that has an "application" program associated with it. You will then be able to have others recruit people to work for you under YOU, which is the ideal situation when working from home.

2) Blogger / Web Content Writer – If you have a knack for writing, and want to do so online, then this is for you. The pay varies drastically depending on your niche. So here's a tip: pick something that is HOT (or trending). For example, if you see that images of Fireworks are trending on Google Images (or whatever), then create a blog where you can write about Fireworks. From there, just create content related to Fireworks and start creating content accordingly. If you look at the Fireworks "image" above, you can gain an idea of what kind of content you'd be writing about in your blog. It may be posted under a different name or host, but the concept is the same: write about the subject in an in-depth manner. Other ideas are focusing on just ONE topic and then finding other subjects to write about (ie – if you focus on Animals, then create a blog focused on Dogs); or writing about various aspects of life (ie – marriage, parenting, etc). You can also sell your work online via Amazon or other online marketplaces. The pay on these sites varies from $0.10 to $1.50 per page read, and you can earn up to $150 per month by creating multiple articles. But if you create long-form content (1000+ words), then the pay will be higher.

3) Product Review Writer – Another easy job that pays well, particularly if you have a knack for writing (it's also a paid blog). Write product reviews and post them on various websites (Amazon is a good place to start). One caveat: DO NOT get swayed by links from other websites or guest posts that are sponsored and/or paid for by the manufacturer of the product being reviewed. As a reviewer, report on what YOU deem as an honest review based on YOUR experience. Some companies will try and bribe you into writing their review for them; just ignore the emails.

4) Technical Support Analyst – If you like helping people, then this is a good bet for you. You can work from home via any number of websites such as LivePerson, or even your own website. This field requires patience, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). However, if you're good at interacting with people and troubleshooting problems in a calm manner (or A+ certification), then this is worth a test run to see how it goes for you. The pay is by the support ticket: $0.50 to $1.00 per ticket (remember, this way of making money is commission based), and you can expect to make anywhere from $15/hr to over $30/hr.

5) Blog Commenter – If you LOVE reading blogs (or websites in general), then this is a great way to get paid for doing it. All you have to do is read blogs and leave a comment on top of them, or at the bottom of them, or even in response to posts within the blog itself. The pay is minimum wage ($7/hr). HOWEVER, there are websites that allow you to make more by reading more (like GunBlog Variety). The higher the number of sites you are "Assigned to," the more you will earn. The pay is from $0.25 to $2.50 per comment, and can range from $12/hr to up to $30/hr if you do a lot of commenting (and are fast in getting your assignments done).

6) Survey Taking – You can get paid for completing surveys online, and one way of doing this is simply by reading survey online that have been created by others (some survey websites allow you to make money by answering surveys through their websites; others allow you to earn via a cash back or gift card payout system).
Conclusion:

So there you have it – a list of legitimate ways to make money on the internet. But one question remains: are you willing to do what it takes to grow each business venture from a laborer (ie – one who works for low pay) to a manager (ie – one who oversees other laborers)? If so, then you may just find that your earning potential is far greater than you ever imagined…particularly when you can create a job as opposed to taking on one.
