Title: How to Make a Zombie Costume from Recycled Materials
Posted By Admin on September 10, 2014
How to Make a Zombie Costume from Recycled Materials A zombie costume can be one of two things — amazing or terrible. It's up to you on how you want it to turn out. If you want to turn some heads and scare people with something original, then we have the perfect idea for you. We are going to give a step-by-step on how you can make a zombie costume out of recycled materials and it will look amazing! So let's get started. Step 1: Need Some Recycled Materials Start gathering your materials to make the zombie costume now. You will need a body suit, shoes, face paint, and some other materials that are needed for covering the body — such as face paint and an old shawl or scarf. The shoes should be sneakers since they are more durable than regular shoes. Also needed is an old (preferably black) jacket with holes where your arms go through it. If you don't have an old jacket, you can use a pillow case or something similar. You will also need a pair of swim goggles — preferably black in color. That's all you will need to get started. Step 2: The Body Suit Pick the body suit first and put this on. This is the most crucial part of creating your zombie costume that should be done first since it's the base of your entire zombie costume. Once this is done, you should put on all the other ingredients to your zombie costume over top of it so that they stick out more from your body and make them seem more realistic. This is the first thing your friends and family members will see with your zombie costume. Step 3: Make a Face for Your Zombie Costume Now you want to make a face for your zombie costume. This will glue in place on top of the body suit that you have put on earlier. You can get this face mask at any costume store. You can also get them online if you don't have time to go to the store or it's hard to find this type of store close by. The face mask we bought had its own straps so that it could be worn easily while we were putting on the rest of our zombie costume ingredients in place. Step 4: The Eye Holes Put your eyes through the face mask holes. Step 5: Make The Face for Your Costume The final steps are to put on the rest of pieces for your zombie costume. This includes the shoes and jacket and anything else that you have left over or that you need to complete your zombie costume. Also, make sure you get the swim goggles over your eyes, too. We put on a red shirt over our body suit and got our hands stained red with face paint so we could be more realistic. You can use different materials to be more unique and with your own creativity, you can make your zombie costume look as gory and realistic as you want. When that is done, your zombie costume is ready and you can enjoy being a zombie. If you have any questions on how to make a zombie costume or need some tips or tricks, feel free to leave it in the comments section below!
