I am always fascinated by how many exercises there are that are guaranteed to make you stronger and keep you fit for life, yet every time I read a book or article about exercise I find that they make it sound like they are so complicated and hard to learn that it's worth it to hire a personal trainer. What a waste of money! A lot of the information I found was useful, but until I watched one video on YouTube (Australian Health Hacks!) I would never have known the origins of most of the exercises we do now. You people are brilliant! June 1, 2009 at 8:00 AM

I have had several anterior lower back injuries and the bridge seems to be the best way I have found to keep my back in shape. June 1, 2009 at 8:05 AM

"How often should you do a dinosaur?" "Thing is, I don't actually know! I think it depends on what kind of dinosaurs you're talking about." "OK, thanks for the clarification. It's really not that important to know. If it were a matter of life and death we'd all know." This is just my opinion but this is quite funny. June 1, 2009 at 8:06 AM

Hi there. Thanks for showing that some of the bodyweight exercises are free! I was all set to join a gym today. Had 4 x 30 minute classes and thought "this is easy enough, I can do it". Wrong. In the end opted (after about 6 months) to buy a mat and bought an exercise ball to help with balance. Now I look like I'm in the army having just joined up! Anyway thanks for that tip on the exercises you recommended. July 22, 2009 at 8:33 AM

I think a lot of people don't realize how important posture is until they're injured and they have back pains. The reason for bad posture is often due to bad habits that everyone has picked up over time, like slouching all day long or standing hunched over while working at their computer.

Conclusion, we really need to take care of our backs and the best way to do that is to work on your posture. Here's some tips on how to do it: http://www.beyond-backpain.com/page/posture-tips
