A great landscape photograph doesn't necessarily have to be in a majestic mountain range, by the seashore or on a frozen mountain. A great landscape photograph can be taken on your own front yard. The real challenge is finding an out of the way location that will add to your photo, drawing people in and making them wonder what they just experienced. It sounds like a lot of work but it's really not. It all depends how you look at things and the way you process things in your mind before you take that picture. If you are a true artist then it doesn't matter where you are as long as light is present and your surroundings lend themselves nicely to what it is that you want to create.
