The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently released its list of top scams for 2016 . And it looks like one particular scam dominated the rest: Debt Collection. According to the FTC, debt collection was the most reported over-the-phone scam in 2016.
In fact, this scam not only increased by over 200% compared to 2015 – but it also affected more people than ever before!
