 Manifesting Your Dreams And Desires

Questions of destiny, free will, and personal accountability have been raised throughout human history. In this article we look at the philosophy behind manifesting your desires, what it really means to make your dreams a reality by looking at the basic tenants of reality creation and how you can use these to manifest your own desires.

It is not widely understood that manifestation isn't some magical process - it is simply choosing to focus on positive thoughts in order to bring about positive results. Similarly, when you choose negative thoughts you bring about negative outcomes. This is simply a philosophy. In the context of manifesting your dreams, manifesting doesn't mean bringing your dreams into your life by simply wishing or punching a time machine ticket to the past.

It is on this basis that many of my readers have misunderstood the nature of manifestation because they have not understood that manifestation isn't magic and it isn't something only 'special' people can do. You can learn to manifest, and you can use this skill in everyday life just like you can learn any other skill. If you want to manifest your dreams and wishes, here are a few things you need to know.

What is reality?

Reality is defined as the state of being actual or true. In short, reality is what you experience in life. One of the reasons that people find manifestation difficult is because they don't understand how to create their own reality based on their own thoughts and desires.

Several years ago I discovered a book called, The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles. I had read the book at least half a dozen times before I understood and accepted one of the most important messages of the book - that there is only one person responsible for what I experience in my life. What we experience in life is based on our own thoughts and beliefs. When we understand this, we can begin to change what happens in our lives by changing our focus and changing our thoughts.

This is one of the most important lessons I learned in manifesting my dreams and desires. If you think about it, at any given moment, you can choose to focus your thoughts on what you want or on what you don't want. When we focus on what we do want, new possibilities appear in our lives. I believe that everything that happens in our lives is a reflection of our thoughts, beliefs and expectations. Everyone experiences difficulty, rejection and defeat, but the difference between successes and failures is largely a matter of … how you think. If you want to manifest your dreams and desires, there are several things that you need to know.

The Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction is based on the belief that thoughts have an effect on your reality. It teaches that everything is created through vibration or energy, which means we create our own reality by either focusing on positive or negative emotions and thoughts.

The first thing to understand about the Law of Attraction is that it isn't just about attraction, it is about attracting whatever you are most focused on. If you focus on something bad, such as debt or a poor relationship, this will become your experience. The Law of Attraction simply states that you get what you focus on. Your focus isn't something that happens without your conscious thought - you choose what to focus on based on your emotions and expectations.

The Law of Attraction is a Universal Law which means it applies to everyone. And yet, most people have not learned how to use the Law of Attraction deliberately, and as a result, they tend to put more focus on negative emotions and thoughts, thereby attracting more negative experiences. By becoming aware of this fact you can choose to change your focus by putting positive energy into the world.

Manifestation is largely about being able to focus your thoughts on what you want rather than what you don't want. In order to focus on what you want, you often have to consciously reject things that don't serve you.

The Power of Expectation

The second key to creating your reality is expectation. There is a story about a man who had always wanted $1 million dollars but was never able to earn it no matter what he did.

Conclusion

The man decided that he would give up his dreams of $1 million dollars and instead concentrate on the things that were blocking him from attaining the million dollars. He ended up getting his million dollars but he didn't realize that it was because he had decided to change his focus and consciously set aside all thoughts, feelings and emotions which blocked him from attaining his goal.

By focusing on what you want you put into motion a process of creating your reality.
