Smoked Salmon As A Corporate Gift Or Executive Gift, Not A Glass Golf Ball.

Smoked Salmon As A Corporate Gift Or Executive Gift, Not A Glass Golf Ball.

Last Christmas, on the day before Christmas Eve, I received a call from my client’s CEO. He said that he was expecting me to come by his office the following morning with a christmas gift. He wanted to know what I would be bringing him and asked if it would be possible for it to be something other than the usual glass golf ball.

So instead of just bringing him another useless glass orb this year, I went out of my way to buy him a nice Smoked Salmon as a corporate gift or executive gift, not a glass golf ball.

The next day I ran into one of his staff members and asked if there was anything special that the CEO was planning on doing. He said the only thing the CEO wanted to do was to eat lunch with his wife. So I decided to bring him a nice piece of smoked salmon as an executive gift to both of them, not just for lunch but the rest of their lives as well.

A couple of years ago I began collecting these types of gifts from my clients. The most common ones were empty bottles, t-shirts, and golf balls . They all seemed like a waste of money and effort. It was just extra stuff lying around the office that nobody cared about.

Last year I decided it would be more profitable to stop doing this. At first everyone was upset with me and said it was the most thoughtful gift they’d ever received. I told them it was a waste of money and that they should get something more useful like a nice gift card from a restaurant or just a plain old bottle of wine. Now all my clients are happy I stopped buying their useless gifts because I’ve found much better ones for them to buy with their own money . Like this smoked salmon as a corporate gift or executive gift, not a glass golf ball.

I know some of these gifts are not as popular or fashionable as others. However, they all mean the same thing to my clients which is that I care about them, their families or their businesses. These kinds of gifts can go a long way in building and maintaining relationships with people.

If you have trouble deciding what to buy for someone this holiday season, try smoking salmon as a corporate gift or executive gift, not a glass golf ball. You might be pleasantly surprised at how much you like it. And if you don’t like smoked salmon then just go ahead and let it go to waste. And don’t worry about taking up valuable space in the trash. You can always donate it to someone who cares about you a little more than you care about them. I think even that couple I mentioned earlier in the article might be interested in getting a hold of their own piece of smoked salmon as a corporate gift or executive gift, not a glass golf ball.

Hope this was helpful to all of you out there. And happy holidays to everyone! :)

-Smoked Salmon As A Corporate Gift Or Executive Gift, Not A Glass Golf Ball-

*Smoked salmon is now on sale at Costco . They sell it for $8.99 a pound. I bought a bunch for my clients, boiled it, and wrapped it up in nice holiday paper for them.

*I can’t remember what kind of paper I used. It was blue, with white swirls on it. If you want to use this corporate gift idea then you should be sure to get some nice wrapping paper as well. It doesn’t have to be anything too fancy though such as gold leaf or anything like that. A nice blue or green box would be just fine.

It doesn’t have to be anything too fancy though such as gold leaf or anything like that. A nice blue or green box would be just fine.

*Depending on the items you are giving away make sure they are not too heavy otherwise it could break the glass ball.

*You can also give a gift like this to your friends and family as well. Just make sure it’s not too expensive. Something like a nice bottle of wine or a box of chocolates will be fine. Also, if you are giving the gift to someone for the holidays make sure you get something along those lines such as maybe a christmas tree ornament or an ugly sweater or something like that. Or even just an extra large christmas card.

*You can find everything needed for this corporate gift idea at Costco . The smoked salmon was $8.99 per pound I think, and the glass golf ball was $6 each . That’s it!

*This gift idea might not be very useful for someone who is hooked on smoking salmon. But if you like smoked salmon then why don’t you try giving some to your friends as a corporate gift or executive gift, not a glass golf ball?

*Smoked salmon, also known as lox, is cured like other types of fish with salt. During the process of curing, the fish lose their moisture content and become more dense and dry than unsmoked varieties . It is a delicacy often served with bagels and cream cheese for breakfast or brunch. Many people love it because it is easy to prepare and tasty.

*Some people don’t really like smoked salmon. They may even say it is disgusting. I think this is mainly because they don’t know how to prepare it well and it tastes bad to them. If you like smoked salmon then you can always order a nice piece at a restaurant. You could even try ordering an extra piece just in case your friend doesn’t like the flavor or texture of smoked salmon when they first try it. I know some people who don’t like smoked salmon, but once they try it , their eyes light up and they can’t get enough of it. I hope when you are buying this gift idea that you find someone who loves smoked salmon so you can give them a nice piece of this corporate gift or executive gift, not a glass golf ball. Merry Christmas!

*Another thing that makes this type of cured fish so popular is the fact that it is an ingredient often used in making lox bagels . Lox bagels are very popular in New York and other areas of American. Pickled herring and other types of fish served on top of the bagel can also be very tasteful with lox.

Conclusion:

You can buy smoked salmon at Costco for about $8.99 a pound. I bought a bunch for myself, but I didn’t want to eat all of it myself so I gave most of it away to my clients. I’m not sure if you can get it as a corporate gift or executive gift, not a glass golf ball from Costco or any other store though. If not you can always order some from Amazon with free shipping .
