We live in a world full of problems. The sooner we can learn how to effectively solve them, the better off our society will be. Luckily, developing problem-solving skills is easy and fun!

The four concepts are:
1) Reduce the Problem into Smaller Pieces - When faced with a large problem, it's often hard to know where to start. Break the big problem into smaller pieces with an easy-to-follow plan. Then work on those smaller pieces one at a time until they are complete.
2) Solve One Piece at A Time - If you break a problem into pieces that are too small, it won't be possible to solve them and the result will be frustration. Realize that the more details you focus on at once, the harder it will be to solve. Do one part at a time, and then move on to the next part.
3) Plan Your Work - When playing "Jeopardy!" it's important to know what kind of questions each category will contain. That way you can decide ahead of time what information is important. When faced with problems in your life, put together a plan so you know exactly what kind of information you need and how to get it.
4) Always Get Feedback - When working on an assignment or problem, ask for feedback from others. This lets you see if your work is on track, whether or not the problem is too hard for you to solve, and what you can do to improve it.
