Jinga Shoes - The Latest Shoe Craze From Brazil

We’ve all seen a pair of sneakers somewhere: either in an article, on a poster, or even on and around someone’s feet. Whether they’re a brand-name from Nike or Adidas, or custom-made by local shoemakers for the latest hipster trend - it’s no surprise that people love to see what other people are wearing.

That isn’t the case with Jinga shoes – they're entirely new types of footwear that look like they were made from recycled materials. They're produced by Brazilian designers who use sustainable practices and only use natural materials such as wood and organic cotton to create their silhouettes.

The shoes are made from recycled plastic material that’s been broken down into individual pieces that are then molded into shape. The shoes have a more natural, eco-friendly look than other sneakers or even boots which is the reason people love them and want to wear them. They’re not available in stores yet, but you can buy Jinga shoes on their website here: www.jingashoes.com.br/shoes

The innovative design of these shoes will hopefully help to promote the recycling of bottles and waste material in a responsible way. In addition, it will encourage people to think about how they use items from drink cartons and what we can do with those materials other than throw them away. Hopefully the shoes will also help to promote Brazilian-made goods as well as ways of using reclaimed materials to create new products.

Jinga shoes are currently only produced in Brazil, but if they can continue to sell enough shoes then who knows what their designs will look like in the future? Jinga Shoes hope to become more popular throughout the world, and especially in countries where people have a tendency to throw away plastic drink bottles. Either way, these sunglasses look great – they'd definitely be a trendy alternative for all those wearing regular sunglasses. [ARTICLE END]

Jinga shoes were designed by a group of four young men who had grown up in Vinhedo, São Paulo, Brazil. Considering the fact that Vinhedo is one of the country’s largest producers of plastic bottles, it was only natural that these design students would want to find a way to put this waste product back into society. They began by going through every type of plastic bottle they could find and ripping up individual pieces for use in the shoe design process. The designers didn’t stop there, though. They also used scraps of broken vases, CDs, and other plastic items to create their distinctive shoes.
The team then began by creating a mold for the shoe with each piece of the plastic material they were using. This was made possible by using a form made out of wood and then simply filling it with whatever type of recycled plastic they were able to find. Once the form was filled with the material, they then pressed the shoe material into the mold and voila - a sneaker was born! The designers ended up creating eight different variations for their Jinga sneakers, which are solid colors as opposed to patterns or camouflage. Some of the different colors include white, yellow, and boxer color blue.

Jinga Shoes are produced with a combination of recycled materials for the shoe production. However, there are also current considerations made to ensure that these materials cannot be widely recycled again. To accomplish this goal they have worked to create specific designs that cannot be easily re-used or remade without significant modifications to the product itself. When completed the Jinga shoes are usually disassembled into approximately five separate pieces which can then be used for other purposes such as creating vases or other types of furniture. Conclusion

We have certainly looked at some unique shoes made from recycled materials. However, Jinga shoes are the first to integrate both recycled plastic material and natural elements for the complete set. For this reason alone they are indeed unique and much sought after in their own right. The Jinga shoe design is not limited to just Brazil as shown by the fact that they are available on their website in English as well. It is a great example of environmentally friendly shoes that can also make a statement for your own personal style. These would look great paired with jeans or chinos which is always an easy way to wear this style of shoe
